First Lady Tawanna Boone Chance
Lady Chance is the esteemed First Lady of New Mt Vernon Baptist Church, where she faithfully supports and uplifts her husband, Pastor Michael D. Chance, in his ministry. Her spiritual foundation runs deep, as her grandfather, the late Rev. Leon Jackson Boone, served as a pastor for over 35 years, instilling in her the values of faith, service, and dedication.
Beyond her vital role in the church, Lady Chance is the Chief of Staff for Delegate Cliff Hayes in the Virginia House of Delegates, showcasing her dedication to public service.
As a real estate agent with Keller Williams at Virginia Beach Town Center, she brings her passion for helping others to the real estate industry.
She also serves as the Secretary for the Interdenominational Ministers' Wives and Ministers' Widows Alliance of Tidewater, furthering her commitment to supporting the faith community.
